THINKING LOUDLY

One of the world’s greatest thinkers was sitting at my

desk in my study, when he received
this divine epiphany, “IT IS ALWAYS TODAY!” It is never yesterday. It is not tomorrow. Yet, this great thinker noticed that many of his contemporaries are absorbed with past wrongs, and regrets. Others are so future-minded that they are presently useless.
What we do in the TODAY can bring healing to yesterday’s wounds and make preparations for tomorrow’s challenges and harvest.
Matthew 6:33–34 (NIV): But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Philippians 4:6–8 (NIV): Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Indeed, TODAY is a gift from God. Perhaps, that’s why it’s called, “The Present “.

What an inspiring reminder for living in the present. It's always today talks so much especially in a world where distractions about the past and future never seem to end. Even in my academic work, whether studying or going through a Manchester dissertation writing service, I've realized that being in the moment most definitely leads to clearer thinking and better outcomes.
